The CLUE Financial calculator is based on Gen Re's general guidelines for financial risk assessment and is designed to facilitate financial underwriting. However, some types of insurable interest or special situations will still require individual consideration.

In view of specialized product design, strategy, or market needs financial calculations differ between markets. In order to allow for as much flexibility as possible, the multiples used in the calculator can be adjusted manually.
